Anne of Avonlea by L. M. Montgomery is a perfect complement to the first in the series; Anne of Green Gables. Anyone who has read Anne of Green Gables will certainly enjoy this sequel, which continues to capture Anne’s kindred spirit, and humorous ways. Anne of Avonlea is the next chapter in Anne’s life.
